Since 2010, 59 children have drowned in Collier County. Drowning remains the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4 in our community.
We honor their memory by committing to prevention through layers of protection—so that no family has to endure such a loss again.
We will not stop until we achieve and sustain a ZERO drowning rate in Collier County.
Each January, the NCH Safe & Healthy Children's Coalition host the Twins Tot Walk & Vigil to honor the children who have tragically lost their lives to drowning in Collier County and across Florida.
This moving event brings together families, advocates, and community members to remember, reflect, and renew our commitment to water safety.
Join us the second Friday of January.
